This part is a universal water hose fix kit that can be used to solve breaks in refrigerator hose that is 5/16th inch in diameter. Using this part can avoid replacing an entire hose or fridge door because of one break. A smaller, thinner hose is threaded down the broken hose and then reconnected with the 5/16 hose at the point of the break using the provided adaptor.
