Dishlex Global Series and some models of Westinghouse and Simpson Dishwashers were origonally fitted with a 10mm outlet valve part number 0136400041*. Earlier Dishlex Dishwashers used part number 8905146. The manufacturer (Electrolux) recommend using this valve (0136400026) to replace those valves. The original valve was a 10mm valve, this one is 12.5mm. That means you have to stretch the hose over the valve a bit more. Important note when replacing 0136400041 or 8905146. This valve looks identical to the 7021948 (early Dishlex Valve) and to part number 360313, (Washing Machine Valve) but those valves have a significantly higher fill rate and are definitely not suitable for your dishwasher. There are many internet sites selling cheap copies of these valves. BEWARE buying these valve from places that import their own. You should always use the genuine replacement valve as the wrong valve will fill too quickly, causing splash and leaking which will eventually corrode the elctronics in your dishwasher, or worse.
